Thanks so much for writing this. I felt like I was going insane seeing so many people laud her for being empowering and subversive but couldn’t articulate why.

This is phenomenal and I’m so excited to read more of your work <3 this and Jade Hurley’s article highlight everything I’ve been feeling about Sabrina Carpenter as a brand for consumption (not necessarily as a person) but didn’t have the words for without sounding like a pearl-clutching conservative

I keep accidentally posting my comment before im ready 😭😭 - but even though i love her music, this is way too real 😭 it’s even worse when you compare her old music/aesthetic/looks (pre surgery/fillers) with whatever she’s doing today - it almost feels like she’s sold out
